The Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court, on Thursday, remanded a 45-year-old man, Gambo Mohammed, in a Correctional Centre for defiling a 14-year-old girl.
Mr Apata alleged that the defendant stole a cash sum of N450,000 belonging to one Olokunlade Seun.
Counsel to the union, Femi Ekundayo, had sought for an order of the court stopping the defendant, Sotayo Olusola, from parading himself as the union president.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against him.
The police charged a cleaner, Abosede Tayo, 30, and Yeye Omosuyi, an assistant manager, with felony and theft.
The prosecutor said that the defendants stole food items valued at N72,180 belonging to NAO Supermarket.
Mr Isaac said that the defendants were apprehended by residents of the area, who later reported the matter to the police.
The chief magistrate adjourned the case until September 11 for mention.
The police prosecutor said that the victim was a five-year-old girl.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the charge.
