The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) says it has killed bandit leader Alhaji Shanono and 18 others in Kaduna.
The men left Azare in Katagum local government area at about 6:30 a.m. on Monday and arrived at the state capital Bauchi on Thursday.
The Nigerian Air Force would on April 30 graduate no fewer than 49 Branch Commission (BC) cadets and 1,549 recruits.
“Based on the agreement, NAF is expected to make available on request two of its pilots to assist with the operation of NCS Bell-427 helicopters…”
Luckily, the gallant pilot of the aircraft, Flight Lieutenant Abayomi Dairo, successfully ejected from the aircraft.
Mr Buhari is expected to address troops and inaugurate some completed federal and state government projects in Maiduguri on Thursday.
“I want to assure you that the war on terrorism and insurgency will be won. There shall be peace in Nigeria again.”
”I urge you to identify your competent officers and men, irrespective of their seniority or paper qualifications and deploy them.”
“Nobody can deny that fact. The moment you politicise security, then you are bound to have problems.”
“Every service chief and I have made (a) commitment that whatever is required for us to work as a team we would do.”
