The Lagos CAN said the APC presidential candidate had over the years garnered the reputation of a freedom fighter and nationalist.
The ruling party’s presidential candidate has repeatedly avoided taking direct questions on the campaign trail.
“There is no state in Nigeria where I don’t have up (to) 200 students on scholarships being sponsored from my personal money.”
Mr Adeyemi said he supported the positions of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) on the contentious issue of Muslim-Muslim ticket.
This appeal was made in a statement by the Oyo state CAN Chairman, Apostle Joshua Akinyemiju on Friday in Ibadan.
The CAN boss said the fact that the perpetrators are still at large and not rounded up has further emboldened them.

The Christian association said, “We don’t want Christian/Christian ticket nor Muslim/Muslim ticket”.
