The executive secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission, Stephen Adegbite, has urged Christians to embrace humility and use Christmas to show love.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya has urged Christians and Nigerians to imbibe the virtues of Jesus’ teachings to sustain peace and unity in the nation.
The governor said this in his Christmas message to Abians on Wednesday.
Mr Mohammed, who made the call in his Christmas message on Wednesday in Abuja, restated his earlier commitment to creating a safer road environment.
“It is my fervent wish and prayers that this Christmas will bring peace, happiness, and hope to you and your loved ones,” he said.
FRSC corps marshal Dauda Ali-Biu has felicitated the Christian faithful and assured them of safety on the road.
“I am aware that the necessary reforms we are implementing to achieve a more prosperous, peaceful nation for all have imposed unique sacrifices.”
“I urge you to be circumspect and vote for those that will maintain the momentum we have created for the greater good of the country.”
The governor in his Christmas message lauded the armed forces on the frontlines battling to ensure citizens have a peaceful Christmas.
