The Lagos Waste Management Authority says it apprehended 46 people during coordinated early morning operations across Lagos Island.
Mr Osiyemi said the repairs would commence with the service lane, and scheduled to run for six weeks, starting from February 5 to March 19.
A civil servant, Akinwale Ojo, said the fare hikes had eaten deeply into his income.
The initiative, “EcoMove Lagos 2025,” is a week-long campaign to advance sustainable transportation and environmental responsibility across the state.

“The fire ignited as a result of a power surge when electricity was restored. Fortunately, there was no casualty in the incident.”
