The police command in Lagos says the physical and credential screening exercise for applicants in the 2025/2026 recruitment into the force will commence on Monday.
The victim was shot at WAEC Bus Stop, Ebute Metta.
The decision followed consultations with the state government.
Police commissioner Ibrahim Bakori has inaugurated three offices at Kore Police Division, built by community members in Dambatta LGA.
The police command in Edo says it has arrested 113 suspected kidnappers in the early hours of Thursday across strategic locations in Edo Central.
The command urged residents in the state to remain vigilant and promptly report suspicious activities to the police.
The spokesperson stated that additional security operatives had been deployed to the community to forestall any breakdown of law and order.
Mr Jimoh explained that the couple, Jamiu Olawale and his wife, residents of Olaribigba Estate, Ilu-Abo, were whisked away by the gunmen at about 9:45 p.m. on February 20.
The spokesperson also said the CP reiterated the command’s firm resolve to ensure that those involved in the act were brought to justice.
