The UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer rejected plan to delay 30 local council May elections in England.
Ms Badenoch blamed her predecessor, Rishi Sunak, for the party’s woes last week, after two members of parliament left the party.
Kemi Badenoch, leader of the UK Conservative Party, said on Wednesday that Britain is stagnating while other countries are moving forward.
In January, Ms Badenoch said her push for stringent immigration laws was to prevent Britain from becoming like Nigeria.
The Tory leader argued, “The issue of immigration is a simple one for the Conservative Party: we need to crack down on it in every form, both legal and illegal.”
An X user, @BladeoftheS said, “Kemi Badenoch is only a UK citizen because her mother came to the UK for two weeks to give birth to her.’’
“I wish you all the very best for the New Year and all of the exciting things to come,” said Ms Badenoch.
Others, like Esther Offem, 26, who came from Nigeria last September, are still undecided, stating, “None (of the parties) have done much in the areas I am most interested in.
Thousands of Nigerians would likely be affected by the new policy.
According to a source in the prime minister’s office, Mr Sunak had asked Ms Braverman to leave the government, and she had accepted.
