The police spokesperson said operatives arrested one Ruwa Ginyo of Gidan-Madi and two accomplices believed to be key brokers and financiers of a notorious bandits’ group.
He explained that investigations revealed they used intoxicants to steal tricycles.
The police said Mr Aigbogun had been moved to Abuja by the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) over the matter.
“The killers must have their day in court.”
The four suspects were subsequently arrested as police commenced investigation into the murder.
The spokesman said the police had recovered two pump action guns, 11 live Cartridges, handcuffs, a leg chain and jackets from the suspects.
The police charged Mr Adalaki, 46, with causing grievous hurt.
