Dangote Refinery said the decrease was to show appreciation for Nigerians and the Bola Tinubu administration’s support.
Giving a six-ground argument, NNPCL argued that Dangote Refinery lacked locus standi to institute the suit.
ECCIMA has blamed the country’s continuous naira depreciation on the low local production capacity.
“For September, our requirement is 15 cargoes, of which NNPC allocated six,” the statement said.
The management of Dangote Petroleum Refinery says it is not yet getting enough crude required for the effective optimisation of its refinery from the NNPC.
“We have been seeing a lot by way of demarketing campaigns to discredit the Dangote Petroleum Refinery.’’
Mr Dangote described the completion of the refinery as another milestone for Dangote Industries Ltd.
Mr Adegbite said he hoped the move would be sustained and not just predatory pricing.
He said that in no time, other indigenous refineries would be revived.
The United States’ crude will supplement Dangote’s domestic crude supplies from the NNPCL
