Mr Mark stated, “We remain united, determined, and focused on strengthening the party and upholding democratic values.”
ADC leaders, including Atiku Abubakar, Mr Obi, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, David Mark, Rauf Aregbesola and others, were at INEC office in Maitama, Abuja.
The chairman of the African Democratic Congress in Plateau, Hanatu Gagara, has reaffirmed support for David Mark-led leadership of the party.
The rights organisation said Mr Wike’s remark violated the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) code.
“I say that INEC is wrong because the order granted by the court is an injunction status quo ante bellum,” said Mr Falana.
The group said the development could affect party administration, especially as the matter is subject to ongoing litigation.
Mr Abdullahi said the party will, however, resist the move by all lawful and necessary means.
The national chairman of ADC, David Mark, received Mr Kwankwaso along with supporters at his residence on Monday.
The committee was inaugurated by the party in January.
