He said the event signalled the party’s readiness for a statewide electoral contest.
The party pegged the nomination and expression-of-interest fees for governorship aspirants at N10 million and N5 million, respectively.
Mr Oladeji said that the stakeholders were not given the opportunity to monitor distribution of sensitive materials for the election
“State electoral commissions are not in any way independent. LASIEC is an example,” said Accord Party.
Male councillorship aspirants are required to pay N150,000 for nomination forms, alongside a N50,000 administrative fee, according to the chairman.
“The federal government has to look more into and resolve these other contributory factors to create respite and a reversal of rising prices…,” Accord Party said.
“In Accord, we reject the removal of this meagre 25 per cent palliative discount on transportation.’’
The Accord Party has called on President Bola Tinubu to dispense justice on June 12 by declaring the late MKO Abiola the president-elect.
The party’s chairman in Lagos, Dele Oladeji, said the party would keep the governor and his lieutenants on their toes.
He said all the party’s structures and canvassers would work for the APC.
