The African Democratic Congress has strongly condemned and rejected plans by Governor Dikko Radda’s administration to release 70 suspected bandits currently in custody.
Mr Radda said the empowerment would go a long way in boosting the state’s economy.
Mr Bako said the deployment of forest guards aimed to strengthen surveillance and protection of forest reserves and stock routes across the state.
According to him, the council has the power to maintain public order, peace and security within the state upon request.
The Katsina State government has announced the introduction of a N30,000 termly allowance for the teachers posted to rural areas across the state.
The governor said the federal government has approved a medical facility in Muduru to boost healthcare services delivery.
Governor Dikko Radda says Katsina is developing a 20-megawatt power project to stimulate economic growth and attract fresh investment.
The commissioner urged the participants to consider themselves as peace ambassadors in their respective communities.
The governor stated, “We have addressed the issue to about 70% in Katsina State with the support of conventional security agencies and community watch.’’
Mr Kaula-Mohammed qouted Mr Radda as charging the appointees to remain committed to the vision of his administration.
