American President Donald Trump has agreed to suspend bombing Iran for two weeks.
Democrats asserted the war in Iran was costing Americans dearly, citing the deaths of more than 10 military personnel and a sharp increase in fuel prices.
He said threats that spread fear and terror among civilians are unacceptable and must cease immediately.
Ms Harris criticised the president for endangering the lives of military officers and “destroying” America’s global reputation.
The U.S. president said he would hold a news conference in the White House on Monday.
In a joint statement released on Wednesday, Chris Coons, and Mitch McConnell stressed that American security is strengthened by a robust NATO alliance.
Over the weekend, about 2,500 Marines arrived in the Middle East.
The latest ruling follows an earlier temporary order in September 2025, which restrained staff layoffs.
Mr Trump maintained that Iran posed a “tremendous threat,” noting that anyone with a contrary view is unsavvy.
The paper on Sunday reported that Mr Trump is in “regular” communication with the Saudi crown prince and other Arab leaders as the war lingers.
