Mr Olukoyede lamented Africa’s growing loss to illicit financial flows.
The EFCC boss called for greater synergy and collaboration between the Public Accounts Committee of the National Assembly and the EFCC.
He admonished youth to shun internet fraud.
“Surround yourself with good people, friends and acquaintances that will help you grow in wisdom and integrity,” said Mr Olukoyede.
The commission said several exotic phones and laptops were recovered from the nabbed suspects.
The judge had, on April 24, given the EFCC the go-ahead to arrest and detain six operators of CBEX over their involvement in the fraud.
The minister said that the Niger State governor raised the concerns with President Bola Tinubu, who directed the ministry to intervene.
The SGF’s office was tasked with coordinating the investigation, an official said.
The EFCC said the suspects would be charged to court upon completion of investigation.
He said the deal was concluded and N500 million paid for the said property.
