While leaving for the Monastery on Wednesday in obedience to church order, Mr Mbaka claimed the devil used people to blackmail him.
The church said this was to allow the priest time away in solitude, in order to listen to what the Spirit of God has to tell him.
“I don’t want you to be pugnacious or to be cantankerous. I don’t want the adorers to be violent.”
I think he will make some name now. But he may be able to make it only in 2027, 2031. But 2023? Too early,” Mr Aliyu said.
The cleric said that beginning from June 19, there will not be services at the Adoration Ministry ground until further notice.
Father Onaga said the development followed Mr Mbaka’s violations of pastoral guidelines.
Mr Mbaka said no place in Nigeria was safe if bandits could gain entrance into the defence academy.
