Electricity Distribution Companies (DisCos) market receipts for June stood at N26.811 billion, says the Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading (NBET).
Electricity distribution companies have been messaging their customers to explain the cause of extended power outage as collapse of power grid.
The Ikeja Electric and Eko Electricity Distribution Company have been sued for failing to implement the order capping estimated billing of their customers.
EKEDC said the fallen poles had been removed and the company’s technical team was working hard to resolve the problem.
“We also appeal to our customers to report any staff that demands any form of gratification for doing his or her job.”
Whether at home or not, electricity bills from DisCos always wait for hapless subscribers who have no choice but to pay.
