The government said a new date for the exercise would be made public as soon as possible.
Governor Peter Mbah says the federal government has begun the reconstruction of the collapsed Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway bridge.

The victims were said to be travelling to Enugu on Saturday for a burial, when they were attacked by the unidentified hoodlums.
The commissioner bemoaned the unfortunate accident coming up in this Easter season.
The appeal came on the heels of an accident in which a 40-feet container fell on an 18-seater Toyota Hiace bus, killing one passenger and injuring 17 others.
The command’s spokesperson, Geoffrey Ogbonna, confirmed the incident in a statement issued in Umuahia on Wednesday.
“We solicit credible information from the public toward their rescue, please,” the police in Abia said.
Professor Ndubuisi, along with his police orderly, was shot dead along the Centenary City Junction axis of the Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway.
