Mr Mu’azu explained that the development followed a security council meeting on Tuesday.
“The order affects LGs fully affected by banditry and other related crimes,” Mr Mu’azu said.
Mr Buhari’s regime released N6.25 billion to the Katsina government in 2021 for the ranches development in Ruma-Kujar-Jangarai grazing reserves and nearby communities.
President Muhammadu Buhari had in 2021 approved the sum of over N6.2 billion for the establishment of cattle ranches in the state.
“Most of the health facilities in the area were taken over by the miscreants, and the solar refrigerators provided in such facilities have been converted to use by the bandits.”
The affected local government areas include Funtua, Bakori, Jibiya, Malulfashi, Faskari, Batsari and Danmusa, Sabuwa, Kankara, Dutsinma, Kurfi, Safana and Dandume.
Mr. Masari disclosed that the rescue of the kidnapped victims is a continuation of an exercise that started with the recovery of the recently abducted 344 schoolboys.
