Former United States President Donald Trump has decided not to testify at his ongoing hush money criminal trial at a Manhattan courthouse.
The panel said Mr Trump, stripped of his presidential powers, could not continue to claim immunity.
The reinstatement follows a poll by Twitter’s new CEO Elon Musk, which garnered 15,085,458 votes, with 52 per cent in support of Mr Trump’s return.
“In order to make our country successful and safe and glorious, I will very, very, very probably do it again,” Mr Trump said.
The lawsuit asks a judge to appoint a special master to review the materials seized by the government.
Mr Trump said the attack was aimed at preventing him from running for president again in 2024, accusing Democrats of abuse of the justice system.
