The acting commissioner of water resources, Dahiru Muhammad-Hashim, announced this on Thursday.
Mr Yusuf charged the appointees to demonstrate dedication, transparency, and commitment to the people of Kano State.
Mr Makoda said Governor Abba Yusuf’s administration inherited a “failed and decayed education system.”
Mr Yusuf met with the bereaved families and offered the state government’s condolences.
The Kano government says it has earmarked N16.6 billion for the agricultural sector in this year’s budget to achieve food security and increase citizens’ income.
He described the project as a significant step towards reducing transportation costs for workers in the state.
