“From the very beginning of my journey in public service, I have always acknowledged that all power belongs to God,” stated the Ebonyi governor.

“When one is in a position of authority, such a person should know that it comes with lots of responsibilities,” said Mr Nwifiru.
Governor Francis Nwifuru says the 2025 appropriation bill of over N391 billion is ready for presentation to the House of Assembly on Thursday.
Mr Nwifuru, in a statement by his chief press secretary, Monday Uzor, on Sunday, ordered the arrest of one Ndukwe Ayansi and five others over the issue.
Mr Nwifuru said this in Abakaliki, the state capital, while marking the country’s 64th independence anniversary and Ebonyi at 28.
“They encouraged us to do more. It is a challenge on us as government officials to ensure we do more,” said the Ebonyi governor.
Governor Francis Nwifuru says the Ebonyi government has paid N450 million in counterpart funds for the Nigerian women’s project.
“I advise criminals to repent or leave the state as the NSCDC and other security agencies would make life very uncomfortable for them,” the commandant.
