He specifically praised the unwavering support of Mr Ikhana’s three sons, his sister, Austin Braimoh, and veteran football icon, Segun Odegbami.
“We have a legion of ex-internationals qualified to handle the Super Eagles, like Emmanuel Amuneke, Sunday Oliseh, Finidi George, Emeka Ezeugo, etc.,” said Mr Jalla.
“Paseiro has no capacity to transform the team. He has done too much damage by his technical ineptitude,” said the PFAN chairman.
The players’ union and NFF are squaring off over equal representation on the NFF board.
The duo are being sued over plans to conduct elections into the executive office of the NFF.
The judgement quashed an earlier ruling to stop the election from taking place.
Justice Inyang Ekwo adjourned any further hearing in the case to October.
