Mr Uzodimma decried the high level of corruption in IMSU, insisting that the status quo must change.
The governor charged them to work with his administration, and not to allow anybody to use them to fight or undermine the government.
The lawmaker observed that the governor had rehabilitated the major Okigwe-Owerri road, which had been deplorable for a long time.

The governorship candidates said it became necessary to outline Mr Uzodimma’s transformative action to spur him for greater works.
Governor Hope Uzodimma has assented to the N807 billion Imo appropriation bill for the 2025 fiscal year.
Mr Okpebholo, accompanied by his two daughters, took the oath of office and allegiance at 1pm administered by the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Daniel Okungbowa.
Mr Uzodimma attributed Nigeria’s progress to the collective effort and innovative and resilient spirit of its citizens, policymakers and stakeholders.
Mr Uzodimma said the decision to opt for consensus candidates was taken to promote unity and cohesion in the party and stability of politics in the state.
He urged Imo residents to sustain their support for Mr Uzodimma’s administration.
