Ms Farouq stressed that over 4.9 million people were affected by the flood as of November 2022, an increase from the 4.4 recorded in June.
The Multi-Sectoral Crisis Recovery Project for North-East Nigeria (MCRP) said about $2 million was spent on projects in the region.
