Army commander Ibrahim Ali competition was part of its non-kinetic approach toward achieving peace in communities.
The traditional ruler was kidnapped on Sunday night on his way to Vom, a few metres before the main gate of the National Institute For Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).
The state governor said the support was necessary for the restoration of peace in Gombe state.
The military also warned “those that allow their communities to be used as hideouts for criminals.”
The committee has the mandate to find solutions to the clashes and killings in the state.
