The governor said tolerance grows where people feel protected, supported and included in governance.
According to him, the governor had expressed concerns over the frequency of accidents on the Badagry axis.
Mr Abdullahi enjoined the pilgrims to reflect on the lessons of the spiritual exercise.
He described the younger generation as the nation’s hope.
The commissioner said the state would not provide additional pilgrims, adding that the arrangement had been concluded on the comfortability of the number.
“I want to assure you that whoever emerges winner in the primaries will be announced once the result is submitted,” he said.
The commissioner advised parents to collaborate with the State Ministry of Education in implementing educational policies.
Organisers of the special prayer said that the Badagry gathering was to solicit God’s help for the national leader of the APC.
Lawmakers said the bill, when passed into law, would help protect Lagosians privacy rights.
