Baba Ijesha, in his notice of appeal marked CA/LAG/CR/544/23, asked the appellate court to set aside the lower court’s judgment.
Judge Ramon Oshodi of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on Wednesday admitted Femi Olaleye to N50 million bail with two surety.
Femi Olaleye is being arraigned over the alleged defilement of a 16-year-old girl.

The Arabic teacher, Farouk Adam, is facing a nine-count charge bordering on sexual assault of pupils between the ages of seven and 13.
“The survivor identified the defendant as her lesson teacher and the person who had forced sexual intercourse with her,” the judge held.
The prosecution alleged that the defendant, with others still at large, committed the offence on June 18, 2018.
