The Prosecutor, Inspector Olalekan Adegbite, told the court that Adewumi committed the offences on September 5, 2025, at about 3.25 a.m., at Mutual Benefit Insurance Company, Onireke, Ibadan.
The offence contravenes the provisions of section 390(9) of the Criminal Law of Oyo State, 2000.
The magistrate adjourned the case until June 15, for hearing.
Mr Adegbite alleged that the defendant committed the offence with intent to illegally withdraw money from the complainant account.
The magistrate adjourned the case until February 19, 2025, for mention.

Mr Adegbite said the defendant and others at large unlawfully belonged to Alora confraternity, an unlawful society.
The prosecutor told the court that a son of the deceased, Daniel David, discovered the theft.
