Mr Tellang alleged that the four, with the intent to defraud people, represented themselves as white ladies living in the United States of America.
The police said the criminals forced the couple into their apartment at gunpoint and stole 52 grams of gold jewellery worth N7.5 million.
The magistrate adjourned the matter until March 25 for mention.
The magistrate, who did not take the accused’s plea due to lack of jurisdiction, ordered his remand at the Agodi Correctional facility, Ibadan.
The driver attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by OYRTMA officers and police personnel at the University of Ibadan area.
The prosecutor said the victim reported the matter to the police.
The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Additionally, he asked the tribunal to order the respondent to refund all the entitlements he had received.
According to him, Nigerian youths would continue to stage protests across the country until justice is done.
