Mr Aliyu also urged Muslims to intensify acts of worship in the last 10 days of Ramadan.
The call was made on Sunday in a statement by its secretary general, Khalid Aliyuy.
He also urged state governors to calm nerves, saying that silence was no longer golden at this moment of anxiety.
The stakeholders observed that the processes leading to the 2023 general elections fell below expectations.
Mr Aliyu said the appointees should bring their wealth of experience to navigate the commission’s operations.
“Enough of the bloodletting, please,” he said.
Mr Tinubu condemned the most recent internecine killings in Plateau’s Mangu Local Government Area and parts of Benue.
“JNI prays for peaceful and credible 2023 general elections,” Mr Aliyu stressed.
Dhul-Hijjah is a sacred month in the Islamic calendar, in which the Ḥajj takes place, as well as the Festival of the Sacrifice.
