The call was made on Tuesday in Abuja at a meeting organised by the Christian Council of Nigeria and Jama’atu Nasril Islam.
The Islamic group stated that the casualties were not limited to a single religious group.
“We urge the Muslim ummah to intensify prayers for divine intervention to end these tragic cycles of violence,” said JNI.
Mr Sani noted that his vision is anchored on unity, peace, and sustainable development.
He stated that the visit was to express solidarity with the Christian community.
Mr Lawan reaffirmed the group’s commitment to supporting institutions and vulnerable groups across the North-East.
“Government must spare no effort to immediately return all our abducted schoolgirls of Maga, remaining Dapchi and Chibok girls in captivity and other places,” said JNI.
The JNI called on the government to take decisive action to address the security challenges in the country.
The sultan called Nigerian Muslims to “rededicate themselves to good virtues and fervent prayers on the day of Arafah on Thursday.”
Mr Gwani stated that the distribution of the items was part of the lawmaker’s effort to promote unity, love and kindness in his constituency.
