The federal government, on Monday, began another batch of mass trials of suspected terrorists charged with terrorism-related offences in Abuja.
The court’s verdict emanated from Suit No: FHC/ABJ/CS/720/2026, filed by the Social Democratic Party (SDP) against INEC.
He was sentenced on a two-count charge of drug trafficking.
“We call on all party members and leaders to show maximum restraint, calm and be law-abiding before, during and after the judgment,” PDP said.
Mr Kanu also urged the appellate court to look into the FHC’s “foreclosure of the appellant’s right to defend the case by fielding witnesses.”
