Mr Gabaya said the move aimed to boost council development through federal partnerships while making a significant realignment ahead of the 2027 elections.
He said the findings followed a needs assessment carried out in 84 of the council’s 256 communities.
He said N27 billion was spent on the rehabilitation of Dutse to Bwari Road.
He added, “All we need to do is to support the administration so that we can grow together, and I am sure God will help us.”
On Wednesday, the Bwari area council of the FCT resumed the reconstruction of its township road, popularly known as the T-Junction.
“It has not been easy for us; everything keeps increasing, from food to transportation and other basic needs.”
Mr Gabaya said the budget comprised N14.9 billion capital expenditure and N7.1 billion recurrent expenditure.
John Gabaya, chairman of the Bwari area council of the FCT, has said security will remain one of his administration’s primary focuses in 2024.
According to him, the surveillance committee will help check the insecurity and activities of illegal mining in communities.
The traditional rulers are preaching peace ahead of the February 12 elections of the Federal Capital Territory.
