Power minister Joseph Tegbe has called on local and international investors to embrace sustainable financing models to provide electricity for Nigeria’s health facilities.
Joseph Tegbe, has reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening bilateral collaboration with China to deliver measurable and tangible value to Nigeria’s economy.
He said the grid cannot continue to operate at 3,500 to 4,500 megawatts for a population of more than 200 million.
Mr Tegbe promised Nigerians and the Senate that his tenure would deliver visible progress capable of transforming the power sector.
The Oyo state chapter of the All Progressives Congress has hailed the nomination of Joseph Tegbe as power minister.
The empowerment will be done through the Tegbe Foundation.
Mr Tegbe stated that the new tax law will also strengthen the country’s fiscal sustainability and economic competitiveness.
The NRS broke its record revenue collection, posting N28.3 trillion, surpassing the set target of N25.2 trillion for 2025.
Mr Tegbe listed the policies and programmes which investors could take advantage of.
