In her application for divorce, the petitioner, Ms Abdulhadi, told the court that she married Mr Hassan under Islamic law in 2024.
According to the police, the complainant said the convict trespassed on his school and stole one iron window.
The Area Court in Jos on Friday sentenced Nangwan Timzim and Bitrus Mavern, to one month in prison each for stealing a phone worth N160,000.
Mr Gokat disclosed that during a police investigation the convict confessed to the crime.

The judge said that the prosecution proved its case beyond doubt.
Ms Abdullahi filed a complaint against her husband over lack of food, assault and disrespect to her parents.
The judge said that there was no marriage between him and her ex-wife because of the divorce.
The judge said that the convict had appeared before him in the past for the same offence and was released based on a promise to shun the crime.
Mr Musa said, “I still love my wife. We have five children together and I do not want a divorce.’’
