The opposition party announced this in a communiqué on Wednesday after its National Working Committee (NWC) meeting.
Mr Ekwo adjourned the matter until March 6 for the adoption of processes in the notice of discontinuance.
“As I speak with you, we are already constituting the committee that will give us the framework for the review.”
“Some of us have been saying that Peter Obi decided to go to the tribunal to justify all the money he collected during the campaign. All that money was corruptly siphoned.”
During the final judgment of the presidential election petitions, Orji and Edochie were spotted sitting and monitoring the legal proceedings.
He said the Court of Appeal had also affirmed the judgement of the Federal High Court that Mr Abure’s conduct was contemptuous.
Last week, a separate Appeal Court in Benin City, Edo State capital, affirmed Mr Abure as the national chairman of the Labour Party.
Mr Abure, with party members, including the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi and Pat Utomi, said the general election was “a struggle to liberate Nigeria.”
“You are on the right side. If the other camp fails to join you, the train will soon move. Tell them to come and join us because we need more people,” he said.
Mr Apapa also sought a perpetual injunction restraining Mr Abure from further representing or parading himself as the national chairman.
