The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court on Thursday dismissed a suit seeking the disqualification of Mr Oyetola as APC gubernatorial candidate in Saturday’s election.
Justice Inyang Ekwo fixed the date for the judgement after the counsel for the parties had adopted their processes and presented their arguments in the case.
“But if I grant this application and the defendant fails to appear on the next adjourned date, I will make an order declaring him wanted.”
The Ekweremadus’ case is expected to continue in the UK on July 7. Their alleged victim was identified as a homeless 15-year-old from Lagos.
The request follows the arrest of the couple on June 23 in the UK over allegations that they conspired to illegally harvest the organ of the reportedly underaged David.
An APC chieftain, Moshood Adeoti, the plaintiff in the suit, filed the matter.
Mr Okorocha was the last aspirant to be screened by the APC 2023 presidential primary on Tuesday night.
