Mr Idris-Abdullahi assured that the command would intensify surveillance and patrols to rid Kano of vandals and other criminal elements.

Officials said the command deployed five ambulances, 25 patrol vehicles, and one heavy-duty towing truck, among other operational equipment.
The commander urged the public to cooperate with the service.

The operation is aimed at combating drug trafficking and abuse in the state.
The sector commander reiterated that all station officers in the 44 local government areas of the state were fully involved in the operations.
