Mr Abbas wrote the letter ahead of his sentencing, looking to curry a more lenient judgement.
Mr Abbas’s actions come as his sentencing hearing is slated for September 21.
Hushpuppi has sought and received too many delays already, the prosecutors argued.
It came more than two years after the infamous Internet fraud ringleader was arrested in Dubai in June 2020 for driving multiple schemes that targeted victims in Europe and the United States.
