Defence spokesman Edward Buba disclosed this at a news conference in Abuja on Thursday on the armed forces operations.
Mr Nwanosike said Mr Fubara’s alleged move was to discredit and force the immediate past governor of Rivers and current FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, out of office.
The police boss said that 1,050 commercial motorcycles were also seized for contravening traffic rules and regulations.
He also urged the federal, state and local governments to support the association to secure the future of young Nigerians.
“The peaceful celebration of Christmas and New Year in Kogi is a result of such a huge investment in security,” the clerk said.
He said the operatives of the command arrested the suspects for various crimes ranging from murder, kidnapping, armed robbery, rape, and stealing.
She said the kidnappers said they targeted her to collect a huge ransom from her son, Akeem Olugosi, living in the United States of America (USA).
The state prosecutor urged the magistrate to remand the suspects at the Olokuta Correctional Centre.
The commissioner said the governor sympathised with the judge.
“All the suspects will have their day in court at the completion of investigation,” he said.
