The INEC said the petition did not meet stipulated requirements.
Mrs Akpoti-Uduaghan shunned the order, insisting that she would not shelve the plan to return to her constituency for Sallah break.
They said the petition arose from the constituents’ loss of confidence in Mrs Akpoti-Uduaghan on the grounds of gross misconduct in the Senate.
Mr Akpabio denied harassing the lawmaker or anyone, stating he was raised well by his parents.
Ms Akpoti-Uduaghan said learning environments must be protected from such attacks and urged security agencies to ensure the safe release of the students.
The government charged him with perjury, false declaration, use of false documents as genuine, and possession of a forged record.
The group assured the governor of their full support for Mr Ododo and their commitment to securing victory for the APC in the upcoming election.
He said Mr Sadiku-Ohere garnered 52,132 votes against Ms Akpoti-Uduaghan’s 51,763 to clinch the seat, a difference of 369 votes between them.
Ms Akpoti, who wields significant influence in parts of Kogi, described the excavation of roads leading to localities considered her strongholds as politically motivated.
