The corps said it was appealing to motorists to maintain the stipulated speed and refrain from wrongful overtaking to stem road crashes on the highway.
“16 people were involved in the accident, comprising 12 men, three women and one female child,” she said.
FRSC urged motorists to adhere to traffic rules and regulations, exercise patience, and reduce speed to prevent highway disasters.
