Mr Buba said that terrorists in the North Central had begun to surrender to troops.
Mr Buba said that troops were also actively targeting terrorist logistics bases.
Mr Buba said that while more than 70 extremist members were eliminated at Kwallaram, several more were killed at Arainna Ciki.
Mr Buba said that Habu Dogo was a wanted terrorist on the watch list of security agencies both in Nigeria and in the Niger Republic.
Mr Buba said troops also recovered 205 assorted weapons including 5,241 assorted ammunition.
Mr Buba stated that administrative procedure for notifying the deceased’s family was ongoing.
The Defence Headquarters says troops have eliminated 140 terrorists, apprehended 135 suspects and rescued 76 kidnapped hostages in different operations across the country in the last one week
Mr Buba said that the troops of Operation Hadin Kai neutralised 83 terrorists.
He said that the armed forces had taken resolute steps towards ending terrorism and insecurity in the country.
Troops also destroyed 91 wooden boats, 53 assorted ammunition and 173 illegal refining sites.
