Lai Mohammed says the event “will allow the global community to know that Nigerian media is free.”
Since coming to power, the Buhari regime has sponsored several bills in an attempt to gag the Nigerian media.
The regime spokesperson said “our recommendations will be very comprehensive”.
The former navy commodore said some of those backing Boko Haram are now top-ranking government officials in Mr Buhari’s regime.
The minister said he had extracted a commitment from multinational oil firms to relocate their operational headquarters to the Niger Delta region.
“We must resist the temptation of some very selfish elite, who are giving the impression that Nigerians will not want to stay as a nation.”
Twitter had earlier in the week announced that it would establish its African headquarters in Ghana.
“Even in the most developed countries in the world, school kidnappings take place.”
The minister said that the directive would be officially communicated to all public and private TV stations on Tuesday.
Mr. Momoh served as Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture under the military leadership of General Ibrahim Babangida.
