“I reaffirm the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to strengthen our synergy with PCRC for proactive security collaboration,” said the IGP.
The minister commended the German government for its support towards enhancing police capabilities in the country.
“We must either redirect the economy towards a place of boom and competitiveness or brace for an impact we are unlikely to survive,” said the vice-president.
“I will recommend to government the need to increase the annual intake of personnel into the force from 10,000 to 20,000, starting from 2024,” he said.
According to him, Mr Umar is also expected to help in getting more Nigerians into important positions in the INTERPOL.
The victory of APC at the just concluded general elections in Sokoto State and Nigeria is an indication that Nigerians have accepted its policies and ideology.

The scheme will cover 318,319 police officers and men for the year 2022-2023.
