PDP said some members of APC secretly want Mr Akeredolu to die over claims he could threaten their aspirations.
The PDP governors appealed in a communique issued after a meeting on Tuesday in Abuja.
“Currently, the sum of N12 billion for these projects is still in the custody of the Trustees of the funds,” he said.

Mr Bamidele, a politician from Ekiti and long-time protege of Mr Tinubu’s, was at the election petitions tribunal in Abuja to give testimony against Peter Obi and Labour Party.
The witness, also newly appointed Senate majority leader Bamidele Opeyemi, told the court that Mr Obi was a member of the PDP in Anambra State until May 25, 2022.
