The Nasarawa House of Assembly has passed into law two executive bills to promote justice, peace and development in the state.
The State Assembly passed a N149.3 billion budget against the initial N148.9 billion presented by Governor Abdullahi Sule.
“I will not hesitate to arrest perpetrators and promoters of violence in Toto to serve as a deterrent to others and for peace to continue to reign.”
The state lawmakers said this development would ensure speedy development at the grassroots.
The committee said the invitation was over the alleged sale of land belonging to six communities of Haderi District, Kokona Local Government Area.
The assembly said this was in the interest of the poor masses and for the development of the education sector.
If assented by the state governor, the bill would ensure the financial autonomy of the state judiciary.
