The former defence chief said the complexity of today’s threats required officers to demonstrate leadership that is hands-on, adaptable and inspiring.
She added that the victims were rescued and are currently in the hospital facility where they are receiving treatment.
According to her, Mr Adewole’s abductors have contacted the family through her phone number, demanding the ransom of N30 million before he would be released.
He said the Senate’s legislative agenda would also consider other youth development programmes besides those embedded in the NYSC trust fund bill.
“At the end of the renovation work, the camp will be one of the best orientation camps in the country,” the commissioner said.
He appealed to employers to always accept corps members posted to them and make necessary provisions for their welfare.
