The Transmission Company of Nigeria says it has successfully restored the 330 kilovolt Shiroro–Mando Transmission Line 2, following completion of repair works.
Ms Mbah that the campaign was carried out through a series of strategic engagements.

She appealed to the public to protect national assets.
Ms Mbah said that TCN engineers were already at the site of the incident.
Ms Mbah said that in spite of the disruption, there was no power loss in the Nsukka area.
Ms Mbah said that at the time of the incident, a total load of 47 Mega Watts (MW) was affected.
Ndidi Mbah, spokeswoman for TCN, said in a statement on Friday that the body of the electrocuted vandal hanging on the tower has since been brought down.
Ms Mbah said that the lines were initially switched off to enable TCN to energise the new Bauchi substation.
Mrs Mbah said that the maintenance would take effect on Saturday from 9 am until 4 pm.
