She emphasised the importance of proactive disaster risk reduction measures to avoid future occurrences.
The agency said that search and rescue efforts by LASEMA’s response teams, NEMA, Red Cross, and the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service were ongoing.
Mr Olatunde said that Operation Eagle Eye continues as part of efforts to promote road safety during the festive season.
She urged members of the public to remain safety-conscious throughout the celebrations.
Another beneficiary, Mary Dennis, thanked NEMA for the materials she received during the period.
She said the campaign would help reduce the impacts of annually recurring floods in the state.
